Characteristics of the MOOC MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) for A2 level English is designedA2 CEFR level is designed to help learners communicate in simple, routine situations using basic English. 1.1 The goal of studying at the A2 level is to increase the initial level of foreign language proficiency achieved at the previous stage of education, and the mastery by students of the necessary and sufficient level of communicative competence for solving social and communicative problems in various areas of everyday, cultural, professional and scientific activities when communicating with foreign partners, in the preparation of scientific papers, as well as for further self-education. 1.2 Learning Objectives at A2 Level: 1) Form socio-cultural competence and behavioral stereotypes necessary for the successful adaptation of graduates in the labor market. 2) Develope students' ability to independently acquire knowledge for the implementation of everyday and professional communication in a foreign language - increasing the level of educational autonomy, the ability to self-education, to work with multimedia programs, electronic dictionaries, foreign language Internet resources. 3) Develope of cognitive and research skills, broadening the horizons and increasing the information culture of students. 4) Form an idea of the foundations of intercultural communication, education of tolerance and respect for the spiritual values of different countries and peoples. 5) Expand vocabulary and form a terminological apparatus in a foreign language within the professional sphere. 1.3 Learning Outcomes: A2 Level a) Demonstrate understanding of linguistic characteristics of a foreign language, oral and written discourse, prepared and unprepared speech, official and unofficial speech. b) Comprehend the main speech forms of expression: reasoning, narration, argumentation, description, monologue, dialogue and their language means of expression in professional communication. c) Understand all types of messages, reports, speeches, discussions in English. d) Take part in all types of oral speech (conversations, negotiations, discussions). e) Apprehend all kinds of English texts. 2.
